Only what the service needs
The list of accounts the customer manages, an access token for the ones they pick, and the posts, comments and figures for content published through us.
Publishing infrastructure by Logical Dottech
Social API is the publishing layer behind wptaskify and our other products. A customer connects the accounts they own, writes a post once, and it goes out to all of them — with scheduling, stories, comments and replies handled the same way everywhere.
"content": {
"text": "New drop is live",
"media": ["reel.mp4"]
},
"platforms": ["*"]
Each platform behaves differently. The service absorbs that so the product calling it does not have to.
Platform schedules the post itself Our worker publishes at the right moment
The customer stays in control at every step.
They sign in with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest or Tumblr, or paste their own key for the platforms that work that way. We never ask for a password.
Every account is filed against the customer who connected it. One customer can never see or publish to another customer's account, even with a direct account id.
Posts, photos, videos, Reels and 24-hour Stories. Schedule ahead, or send it now. Read the comments that come back and reply to them.
Disconnecting removes our stored access to that account immediately. Tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and are never returned by the API.
Short version, in plain terms.
The list of accounts the customer manages, an access token for the ones they pick, and the posts, comments and figures for content published through us.
To publish what they wrote, show them their own comments and results, and reply when they ask us to. Nothing else.
We do not sell, share or transfer platform data to anyone. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not build audience profiles.
Tokens are encrypted at rest with a key held outside the database. Each customer reaches only their own accounts.
Social API powers publishing across the products Logical Dottech builds, starting with wptaskify.
